Job Description: 

Digital Consultants is seeking an Audiovisual (AV) Technician to join our team! As an AV Technician, you provide on-site dedicated AV support services whose primary function is to respond to AV support service requests for operations, management or handling of AV equipment for requested events. As a member of the AV Support Team, you will be responsible for providing routine and emergent AV support services for over 100+ rooms within the Federal Communications Center Headquarters.

Duties to include:

  • Responsible for conference room setup, establishing network connection for meetings requiring AV operations, troubleshooting problems which occur during events, confirming conference bridge connection.
  • Review the existing AV setup to determine if it is operational prior to events.
  • Escalate and report any incidents with malfunctioning or non-functioning AV equipment or AV accessories at AV Intake.
  • Provide oversight support of 100+ managed locations within FCC headquarters and able to work with a variety of AV systems to include Crestron, AMX, CISCO, Extron, etc.
  • Refine and maintain the schedule and status of all AV supported rooms throughout the facilities.

Required Skills:

  • Minimum Experience: 5+ years of experience supporting AV deployment, conference room support, and/or AV troubleshooting experience installing, operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, networking and interfacing AV equipment and related components.
  • One of the following certifications: Certified Technology Specialist (CTS) (any level), Crestron Certified Programmer, CISCO, or any AMX/Harmon.
